I don't think anyone could've stayed Ange's hand. [ it's muttered a little. ] ... Two of them I asked them to do it. One went out and got himself murdered because I couldn't convince him he didn't have to try and kill anyone. Last killed someone by accident using a power she got from me she didn't know how to use. Poisoned the rest of the participants with it, too.
Part of the job. All the Leaders asked someone to kill directly at least once. Reasons varied, but... the people being alive unbalanced things, so they had no choice. I'm not blaming myself for that.
[ and he still thinks asking ange to kill was the right choice fuck what everyone else says ]
Even when the events themselves may end, the emotions do not often turn off so easily. For better or worse, you have a heart just as I do.
[ . . . ]
Even knowing that all must have met their end in the village, for some reason, many of those who were granted roles to fulfill died first. All three whom I chose died long before I did. Many of them killed without direction.
While I do not understand your exact feeling - it does resonate.
... Feels less like we're halfway there and more like getting closer to a deadline we aren't ready for. [ timer is running out and they don't know shit! problem. ]
Mollymauk Tealeaf suggested that one group will receive a locket with a power from home. [and mikazuki will adjust his sleeve, to show where his is hanging upon his wrist]
And the other might receive information about the hotel... but it seems like I still have more to do, in order to gather it all together.
Yeah. The other group that week got the hangman. Last week ... they said they didn't get anything. Estelle heard something from... [ sighs ] Zuko about what they got, so I want to see for myself.
For last week, maybe. For this one, it sounded like some kind of journal. I'll be checking it out. From experience, writing like that... people tend to misinterpret it pretty bad the first time around.

[ and he still does in the sense that he wants to help them out of the graveyard, but also, they are all in the graveyard. ]
Not like I was much good at it back then, either.

[because jiji does believe in the trying]
What would a satisfactory job of supervision have looked like to you? Less repeats? No repeats at all?

[ he did not mention that last time, but. y'know. ]
Somehow, they still had the highest kill count of the bunch. I don't know what that says about me.

[instead of losing four. some, apparently, to murderhands. fucking help. i think of ange fondly everyday]
Do you take responsibility for what they chose to do with their blades, because you are their leader?
no subject
So you tell me.

Why is it that you asked the two to murder?

But you're blaming yourself for the others.

Maybe. Look, it doesn't matter. It's over and done with. Not like I've got anyone to lead now.

[ he's not sure he understands his exact feeling either, to be honest. ]
Maybe I'm just... tired of being helpless. They put us in these leading roles back then, and for what? So we could watch?

... I agreed to my position, so I do not know if I can speak on it with certainty.
But you are correct that I also found my hands more tied than I had expected, and far more than I appreciated.
It felt surprisingly cruel.

... This side or the other, there's a lot we can't do about things.

Well, we are halfway elapsed.

At the very least, in the village, this was the time in which we received more pertinent information on how to end the experience...
I wonder if we might encounter things that might be - worse? And yet more illuminating.
[HOW MUCH WORSE!!!]

[ almost like some kind of murdergame schedule. ]
Not everything's been the same pattern as what we're used to. Even if the information is bad... Having anything to give us a hint might be worth it.

I believe that some information has been dispersed through the excursions... though mine in particular did not yield anything.

... I shall inquire, then. That they received nothing seems amiss, but I wonder if it might be delicate.

I will similarly inspect with Bradley Bain.
