so honestly seeing rupert out of the corner of his eyes startles him a little but he greets him with a smile and ignoring that he was clearly going through Something there because it's affection week and he is happy to see his friend rupert :) ]

Came to learn to gamble?

They're actually selling stuff if you get enough coins.

It's worth a shot. I know what all of these are, but I can't say I've ever actually played most of them.

You just put coins in and try to get three matches in the middle row by pulling the lever. It's basically random luck.

Well, okay, I guess we have no actual money to waste so it's fine...?

Yeah. Everything with these things is luck or rigged, so don't get discouraged. We don't need that much to see what those booster packs are.

[ he gestures at it. there's also like, rows or whatever. pretend they can explain roulette. i want rupert to continue to have terrible luck ]

This one's a little harder to rig.

[unfortunately i rolled a sixteen for this one so he'll probably get it on the second or third try.]
