Most of the time, the station wasn't so bad. It was meant to be enjoyable to a broad variety of people. Not everyone enjoys...well. What Lup and Mollymauk might enjoy. Some of us like books.
That is quite possible, yes. I'm also an odd case because the place I came from before was quite...spare, and isolated, and involved actually a lot more murder attempts than the station ever did.
