These movies aren't getting any better with time.

...no, they are not. I suppose this one did have more of a weapon, but--

Point isn't for it to be simple, I guess. Wouldn't be entertaining. [ versus a fun black and white movie! which is fun. ] Maybe the issue isn't the weapons. Maybe that's just there to prolong it.

I have wondered, truthfully, what would happen if they attempted to cut it short, and take a more direct route.

I assume it would be less entertaining as well, however. It would not surprise me if it were somehow prevented.

That's probably why everything that happened with Sieghart happened. I doubt Sheila's that bad at murdering someone.

They were trying to wrap it up too fast.

Most likely, yes. And were one to try to do so even faster-- I expect there would be some manner of interruption.

Ugh. So we did-- an effort to stall us, I am sure.

It worked out pretty well for them if that's the case. [ he tilts his head ] I can't say I get jack about what actually happened there.

I feel as if we must have been-- somewhat close, at the least. Just not enough so to be more certain.

You think? Feels like the stuff we honed in on might have been part of the frame job, if that picture hint meant anything.

If that was what it meant, then it is possible. I do not think we could say with any certainty, especially not now.

We can't, but that's about the only sense I can ascribe to it.

...I suppose that at this point, what matters more to dwell upon is whether there would be any reason to force someone to act a second time.

[skyagain]

Yeah. That's the question. [ he frowns looking at his metal hand ] ... If they keep possessing more, maybe that's the entertainment value. More killers, more bodies.

Keep an eye out, then, for any sort of suspicious behavior. It was possible in the Prism to identify it in those who were refracted, though I do not know if this would show in anyone similarly afflicted here.

Hard to say. There's no way to tell when they're first possessed, but it's true we've never had someone get away enough to check for after. They did say it's more... like a compulsion, though.

So they have. Still-- I would prefer to remain watchful, rather than simply assume there will be naught for us to see.

Yeah. But I also don't want to immediately assume anyone acting weird is a killer. We never know what can pop up in these places. So... vigilance, not paranoia.

Fair enough. I'm guessing a lot of people here expect you to end up there no matter what, huh?
