[ i have been waiting so long to use this icon to greet emet with. anyway, after hallucinating during execution cloud's a little distracted walking around, which is why he bumps into emet. unfortunately, he has a bad track record with bumping into very tall people with silver hair, so even though emet is far taller than sephiroth, he still has the reflex of jumping back looking like he's seen a ghost and putting a hand on his sword--

before he relaxes ]

Oh. It's you.

[ it's just tall emet-selch, cloud, a DIFFERENT final fantasy villain ]

...so it is, yes.

[at least he relaxes and doesn't actually go after emet or start accusing him of anything or immediately comment on how big he is, so. cloud has rights.]

It has been a troubling day for all of us, I take it.

... Between seeing ghosts and that mess out there, yeah, I guess.

[ not that that's abnormal for cloud but he would never share that. he shakes his head ]

... Emet-Selch. Sorry, I'm another one who knows a future version of you. Not that well, though. [ a pause ] And that wasn't in reaction to him either.

[VERY funny that rng gave me this door:

2. You open the door and find yourself inside what looks like an abandoned amusement park, where it is perpetually dark and rainy. There are clowns skulking about here, and they don't seem happy to see you. They rush at you, and if you are aggressive with them, they will fight you and try to kill you; if you are not, they will try to force you into a clown outfit. If you are killed by clowns, you will find yourself back in the hallway with healed-over scars from your fatal injury; if you allow yourself to be dressed up, you will find yourself back in the hallway dressed as a clown. Either way, you are soaking wet from the rain. Only four minutes have passed.

they end up in the amusement park, and immediately emet-selch is on edge.]

-no. No, absolutely not.

[ cloud blinks up at the rain, because sometimes you miss weather. that's it. but then emet-selch is immediately balking and that is hard to miss, so he turns to him ]

Been through this door before?

[ktiseos]

Not this door, no, but the last time I saw an amusement park...

[huffs. he hates this.]

Keep an ear out for... honking.

week 1, saturday

[skyagain]

[ here is cloud, just hanging out, in a place, i've forgotten all locations, stretching out the right arm and testing the shoulder now that it has healed. anyway hi emet ]

Hey.

[ he's just gonna. greet people. he guesses this is a thing he does now. ]

[ktiseos]

-ah. Cloud.

[he pauses, taking a moment to look him over. much better without the eye hole thank you.]

...you are well enough now, I take it?

week 2, sunday

[ the void... cloud does not walk into emet this time it's fine. cloud is leaning against something somewhere i am yeeting these so quick and i'm sorry ]

These movies aren't getting any better with time.

...no, they are not. I suppose this one did have more of a weapon, but--

week 3, monday

[skyagain]

[ i've been rolling to the dice to place these in areas that are WORSE than the void, and this one is the spa. why the hell are either of these characters at the spa? it's monday they are still exploring. it's fine ]

I'd complain, but this is probably the most normal thing to find in a hotel that's shown up yet.

[they had a hot spring but this man hasn't seen a spa in his life

he's just blinking down in confusion at his robe and fuzzy slippers, right now.]

week 3, friday

[ hi emet cloud has dirt on his hands, so. in case he missed the memo; ]

We found Jason. [ g...good news... everyone? ]

-good. I heard from Lup.

If this was the hotel's idea of a joke, it is a thoroughly poor one.

[he sounds miffed about this. what the Fuck, after that memory and everything.]

w4 monday

[ktiseos]

[hi, cloud.

emet comes across him wherever he happens to be in the hotel, giving him a nod in greeting

and sets a hand on his shoulder, for a few moments, before blinking and pulling it away.]

-good morning.

[he says, as if nothing just happened.]

[skyagain]

[ cloud looks at the hand on his shoulder and he should probably feel weirder about it than he does but no. that is about right. touch is totally normal! yea! in fact, he will pat emet's arm back. around the elbow. this is the only thing he can reach probably. ]

Morning. Seen where we're parked yet?

[ is it parked when it's a hotel, cloud. ]

week 4, saturday

[skyagain]

[ wow a void. where are we. i refused to think about it too long ]

... Talk about a new kind of disaster.

[ just. the entire trial. he looks so tired. ]

Tomorrow is not going to go well, is it.

[he says quietly, shaking his head. his hair's a little bit damp, still, he's showered after cemetery adventures.]

week 5, monday

[skyagain]

[ even with only one week available the realm is a vast place, and yet cloud chooses to hang out next to the planetarium, looking pensive. he'll greet emet when he sees him tho! ]

Hey. Came to check it out?

[ gestures at the quaint little town where nothing bad ever happened <3 don't look at the gift store ]

I did, yes. Are you familiar with it?

[he still has his broken arm in a sling, but the other rests on the planetarium door, giving the building a curious look.]

w5 tuesday

[ktiseos]

[hewwo cloud. where is he on this fine tuesday evening, emet is out here to find him.]

Ah- Cloud. Do you have a few moments?

[skyagain]

[ the fifth floor mailroom because it's Tuesday, but he doesn't seemed fussed to be interrupted and nods at emet ]

w5 thursday

[our BOYS.

anyway. hi cloud. emet-selch is coming to check in on him later, after he's had some time to recover and possibly be fussed over.]

-Cloud. Are you well?

[skyagain]

[ everything is at least healed closed, and cloud's since switched back to loose clothes that mostly cover it up, but he looks fine. a lot tired, but he raises his good arm at emet-selch wherever the fuck he is ]

Mmm. [ it's a vague noise and he blinks slowly before he shakes his head ] Alright. Yeah.

[ he's been better but he can walk so he is Fine ]
